Edwardsville Engagement/Wedding Photographer - Nikki and Chris

Sunday morning I woke up at 5:30am.  I am not a morning person at all, but that particular morning I was wide awake and way excited.  Why?  Because I got to photograph Nikki and Chris's sunrise engagement session!!!  We met at 7:00am in the middle of a field, right before sunrise.  Sunrise is a very peaceful time, especially on a Sunday morning.  The air was a bit crisp, the sky full of glowy yummy orange light, and the only sound you could here was Nikki's infectious laugh.  Chris and Nikki are absolutely AH-dorbale!  They are so in love and so comfortable around each other, you can't help but just smile when you're around them.  The way Chris makes Nikki laugh...and the way they look at each other.....they are perfect for each other.  So good thing they are getting married huh?!?!? :)  We ventured out into the wilderness....roamed around in snake pits and chased beavers....had ourselves a good ole time. ;)  Here are a few from their session.  Enjoy!

Well look who finally decided to show up!  I do have to say, it was worth the wait....

This photo was taken in the middle of a snake pit.  I'm not joking, there was shedded (word?) snake skin everywhere....  But Nikki and Chris are troopers!  And now we can all just laugh about it...

"That crazy photographer lady made me go in the snake pit!"....lol.....you know.... ;)

Nikki you are SO gorgeous my dear!  And that red hair?  HOTT!

Awwww...  Makes we want to cuddle....
