5 Year Wedding Anniversary

Happy 5 year anniversary to my amazing husband Tim Cipolla! Over the past 5 years we've traveled the world together, added another fur baby to the family, moved across country, and just dealt with whatever life threw at us. We may not see each other every day and our marriage/life may not be a "traditional 9-5" but we are still going strong. Out of the 12 years we've been together, I'd say these past 5 have been pretty dang awesome. You are my best friend and I'm so lucky to have you as my husband.

Erin and Scott ENGAGED - Belleville IL Wedding Photographer

Erin and Scott are getting married in October on a Friday.....which I love.  We recently met in Belleville on a hot windy day for their engagement session.  They brought along their AH-dorable dog Masie and a scooter, omg was I excited!  Here are a few from their engagement session, enjoy!

Scott is a tall guy...like volleyball smack you in the face tall....which is why I LOVE to shoot in alleys because there is always a random crate or center block to stand on....in my high heeled boots :)

Harper 3 months old - Belleville Family Photographer

Hi there!  Are you ready for a blog post party?  Well good.....

Remember the lovely Harper?  I have had so much fun photographing this family from maternity photos to newborn photos to now. Being able to watch children grow up before my very eyes is such a gift.  I've known Amber since high school....we used to play tennis together.  From getting pulled over by the police for turning without signaling (multiple times) in the Dairy Queen parking lot, to driving to tennis practice wearing sunglasses with no frames, to making matching tshirts for Prairie State Games the night before.....I heart Amber.  She is such a beautiful person inside and out.  And now getting the honor of photographing her beautiful family, it doesn't get any better than that.  :)

Harper has a FABULOUS eye for fashion..... ;)

Lindsey and Kye- Belleville IL Family Photographer

HI!  Happy Fall! :)  I just wanted to share an AH-dorable family session I recently did in downtown Belleville.  Lindsey and her son Kye recieved a gift certificate from her Mom for a family session.  That's right, I have gift certificates available, they make great gifts!  We strolled around downtown Belleville and had ourselves a wonderful family session.  And Kye is such a sweetie, he loves his mommy...and popcorn. :)  Enjoy!

When photographing children, I will say all kinds of words to get them to smile except for cheese....any word but cheese.  So during Kye's session the word was POPCORN!  And then we found some "popcorn"... :)
