St. Louis Senior Portrait Photographer - Tiffani

Tiffani and I recently met in downtown St. Louis for her Senior Session.  You may remember (who could forget) her sneak peek.  Tiffani is SO gorgeous and such a rockstar!  She was game for anything, which makes me smile.  We hit the streets (Washington Ave. area), played in some awesome (smelly) alleys, dodged some traffic, and set up shop on a window ledge...oh ya!  Talk about one AWESOME photo session.  Here are a few from Tiffani's senior session!  Enjoy!

SUCH a pretty girl!


Yes she sat on a window ledge.....4 stories up.....and it was awesome!


Red high heels!!!....Tiffani is definitely my kind of gal... :)


I had to use my "spiderman skills" for this one...woot woot!





And yes it was a bit breezy....but breeze is good.... ;)





And yes I went out there with her....and yes my "assistant" had her hand in my back pocket the whole time.
I did not even notice (go figure) but my "assistant" was planning on catching me by my pocket if I was to lose my balance....thanks mom.... :)

Then we walked around Washington Ave.  Lots of cool spots...


I'm pretty sure this is when I lost my balance standing on the cement block in the parking lot....I tried really hard to save it...but I just looked like a fool and made strange noises while falling.... :)


Tiffani...you are stunning...


I wish I could rock a pair of skinny jeans like Tiffani....Skinny Jeans and I just don't get along...

And it's leopard on the inside?!?!?!?!?  Please excuse me while I jump up and down and Squeeeeee!!!
That dress is HOTT...now I want to go to prom all over again...why didn't we have cool prom dresses like this????  WHY???

I wear a size 10 just in case you were wondering....


And yes you better believe Tiffani drew some attention off the street...

Cleaning and Inspiration Board....

So this past weekend I woke up and decided to "attack" my office.  My office is actually the family room, which I have taken over.  I don't like clutter, but I seem to "accumulate" lots of clutter (magazines, shoes, post its, empty shopping bags, unopened mail) so my office was looking very cluttered.  My desk was in a corner and I wanted to move it in front of the window so I could look out the window....but this meant rearranging the entire room.  I have a cherry red velvet couch with a matching oversized chair (first major purchase I bought on my own right after college) a desk, and two end tables.  It was go time....  I tracked down my husband (who was hiding in the garage getting ready to "cut the grass") and began moving furniture around the room.  We moved the couch to the opposite side of the room...then my desk to the other....then an end table to one corner...didn't look right.  Then moved the desk to another wall...nope.  After a good hour, this just wasn't going to work.  I am very stubborn, so throwing in the towel took way longer than it should have....but dang it....I wanted it to be perfect!  After moving all of the furniture back to it's original place (and my husband giving me the stank eye), I grabbed a broom and some pledge and went to work.  After some organizing and de cluttering, the room felt good...so fresh and so clean clean. ;)  I then remembered I had a cork board in the guest room closet (still covered with pictures from college) and decided to make an inspiration board for my clean, de cluttered (word?), perfect office.  I have a thang for photo collages...and fashion (clothes)...so I made this. 

And then I spent a good chunk of my day in my office editing...and listening to my Cake CD (which I found while de cluttering and got very excited...).  I've had that CD since 8th grade....love it.  :)  So the lesson learned?  Clean the room....before you decide to rearrange the entire room.  :)

Southern Illinois Newborn/Family Photographer - Lila

You may remember Liz from her maternity session.  I loved that session....  Well guess what?????  Liz gave birth to a BEAUTIFUL baby girl named Lila.  And guess what else???? (Yes I'm like a 5 year old....)  The Kleiners invited me back out to their LOVELY home to have one adorable family session.  I LOVE this family, they are so much fun.  AND they live on one awesome farm.  I love farms....  Thanks you SO much Kleiner family for welcoming me back into your home and letting me capture your adorbale newest edition to your family, Lila.  She is SO precious!  :)  Here are a few from their family session.  Enjoy!

Isn't Liz gorgeous??????  I love this photo...  My mom thinks Liz looks like a cross between Sandra Bullock and Julia Roberts......she's gorgeous...

Ella and I have the same hot pink Crocs...except she has way cool flowers on hers....I just have sparkly jewels....you win Ella.... :)

This is their family dog Tess.....Isn't she a cute pookie wookie????  I love dogs... :)

I LOVE this picture....Tess and Shad are very close...It reminds me of a Levi Jeans Ad.  Get a huge canvas print of this one????  I may even get one....Love it.... :)

Introducing baby Lila!  She's so puuuuuurty! :)  And on a side not, Liz's father made this little bassinet (it's vintage).  I thought that was very cool.... :)

Tiffani- Class of 2011- Sneak Peek

So I recently did a portrait session with the lovely Tiffani.  Tiffani and I met downtown St. Louis for her Senior Session, and it was pretty awesome.  The weather was perfect and the city was our playground.  I LOVE shooting downtown.....the sites, the smells, my favorite dingy alleys....love it.  Tiffani is absolutely gorgeous and was down for anything.  Hey Tiffani, why don't you climb out on that window ledge....Hey Tiffani why don't you run across that busy street...then run back....Hey Tiffani why don't you put on your awesome prom dress and go spin around in that parking lot.....  Tiffani worked it!  And she had a pair of red high heels!  My kind of girl....  A big THANK YOU to Nicole and her fiance' for letting us borrow their loft.  Here's a little sneak peek.... :)
