Amy & Tim MARRIED - Third Degree Glass Factory, St. Louis Missouri Wedding Photographer

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Is it me or did 2014 just fly by????  A year full of SO many amazing St. Louis weddings and SO many amazing couples, I'm incredibly thankful to be able to have a job that I love and photograph so many special moments!!!  It's truly an honor :)  I'm welcoming 2015 with open arms and I'm so excited to see what this year brings!

How about we ring in the new year with Amy and Tim's gorgeous St. Louis wedding, shall we?  You may remember Amy and Tim from their engagement session in Tower Grove Park.  They are so flippin cute!  And I've said this over and over, they are SO COOL!  Laid back, chill, amazing family and friends, smiles for days, love to dance, absolutely LOVE this couple!

We started off the day at the very cool Moonrise Hotel located in the Delmar Loop in St. Louis.  It's a boutique hotel and the rooms are so retro yet modern, it definitely made for a cool setting for getting ready photographs.

Aren't Amy's shoes adorable?????  Loved that they matched her grandmother's handkerchief.

Amy was all smiles and absolutely glowing!  I couldn't stop smiling.... It's contagious ;)

We then headed upstairs to the rooftop terrace where Amy and Tim had their first look.  If you know me, you know I'm a huge fan of first looks.  So personal and so real..... I luuuuuv them!

On a side and random note.... Jason Derulo was performing that night at The Pageant which is located directly next door.  And his family just happened to be on the rooftop deck as well, having their own family photo shoot.  Jason wasn't there.....  BUT I did see him walking behind The Pageant as I was leaving.  WHAT UP JD?!?!?!  Why did you break up with Jordin Sparks???  She's better off IMO.....
I told you.....random..... ;)

BACK TO AMY AND TIM!  FIRST LOOK!

How cool is the Moonrise Hotel?!?!?!  They also host weddings and receptions AND they are pet friendly!  Best hotel ever.

So because Amy and Tim opted for a First Look, we had tons of time before their ceremony to photograph their wedding party portraits!  No party bus or rushing around needed, another reason I'm a fan of First Looks.  MORE time = MORE photos!
We found the most perfect, quiet, and organic spot in Forest Park, St. Louis.

LOOOOOOVE this location!!!!!  Amy and Tim love the outdoors and this little hidden meadow was SO perfect for their wedding party portraits!  If you have been lucky enough to step in front of my camera, you know I am a fan of trekking through weeds and mud to get those perfect shots.  Thank goodness Amy was there to point out all of the poison ivy.....life saver!!! And they never complained once about the mud or other elements.....  I heart them! <3 p="">

Their wedding ceremony and wedding reception were both held at the Third Degree Glass Factory in St. Louis.  Talk about a COOL location!  An art gallery/loft/urban feel with a professional staff?!?!?  Sign me up!  Great location indeed!

Side note: Tim and his Dad built this trellis with their own bare hands.  Can you say AH-MAZ-ING???

Instead of a "sand" ceremony, Amy and Tim combined "ingredients" that would later be made into a handblown glass piece just for them.  STAY TUNED!
I told you.....they are the coolest....  #BestIdeaEver

Their wedding reception, also held at The Third Degree Glass Factory, was so unique and amazing!  They used blown glass pieces as their table centerpieces and incorporated fall colors to keep their fall theme. Loooooved it!

Finally, Amy and Tim included a live glassblowing demonstration for their guests to enjoy.  Artists created a special keepsake for Amy and Tim.  I told you.....they are the coolest! ;)  GREAT idea!
