Same-Sex weddings hold a huge place in my heart, and when Eric and Larry asked me to photograph their special day in Alton IL, I seriously squeeeeed out loud with excitement! I just adore the both of them! And even though their wedding day consisted of a little torrential rain and a few tornado warnings (bring it on mother nature), it was a fabulous day! Your love for each other and the love that your family has for you moved me to tears and I was absolutely honored to capture your special day, thank you!
The thought of stealing that chair may have crossed my mind......so dang cool.....
Eric and Larry's wedding ceremony was held at The First Utarian Church in Alton, IL. Rustic, haunted, and absolutely gorgeous! ;)
Then we traveled to Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, IL for their wedding party photographs. As you can see, the sky was pretty ominous......but after the torrential rain and tornado warning, they rocked their photos!
Eric and Larry's wedding reception was held and the lovely Lockhaven Golf Club in Godfrey, IL. Their wedding reception consisted of white feathers, candelabras, silver mosaic glass, and gorgeous white rose and baby blue hydrangea floral centerpieces. Absolutely gorgeous! And the staff at Lockhaven Golf Club did an excellent job!
Outdoor family photos are my absolute favorite!
And a big "WAR EAGLE" to Larry and his Alabama loving family..... ;)
