Olivia and Chris MARRIED - Clarksville, MO Wedding Photographer

Hi there!  Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!  I spent mine shooting a wedding then spending the day with my family at a winery.  Family and good wine equals awesome.

Today I wanted to share Chris and Olivia's special day with you all.  I call Olivia my "Rosario Dawson bride" because....she looks like Rosario Dawson.  Absolutely gorgeous :)  Chris has been stationed overseas in Korea for the past 6 months....and was able to get 2 weeks leave.  What did he plan on doing while on vacation?  Marrying the love of his life Olivia....of course :)  The day started with thunderstorms and torrential rain....which then moved the ceremony location indoors.  When I arrived, I found Olivia getting ready with her four adorable and oh so gorgeous sisters.....laughing up a storm with Sara Bareilles blaring in the background.  I sat and watched as her sisters helped each other get ready....watched Olivia's Mom shed a happy tear helping Olivia into her wedding dress....watched Olivia look at herself in the mirror and smile from ear to ear.....  I absolutely love my job :)

Olivia and Chris are an adorable couple.  Watching them become husband and wife and getting to spend time with their families was such an honor.  Here are a few from their special day :)  Enjoy!

In the words of Olivia :)

When making decorations I wanted a simple, laid back, country feel. That's why we went with ivory & browns instead of formal black for the guys. For the girls: Chris loves bright cerulean blue and I love a subtle seafoam green...so the color I picked for their dresses was supposed to be a nice "in-between" of two of our favorites.

My friends helped me collect wine & beer bottles for the tables. I decorated them with paint and glitter,
or wrapped them in yarn or twine as vases for the gerber daisey's and an extra favor for people to take
home.

My sister and Maid of Honor Sophia made the yarn "spheres" as decorations for the bridal shower she threw me.  She put so much work into them and they were so cool I had to bring them to the wedding too!

My youngest sister Michaela hand-sewed the little Bride & Groom "outfits" for two of the wine bottles on the cake table. So adorably cute.

I made a lot of paper flowers and garlands too but honestly I'm not sure if they all got used since we had
to have the ceremony inside.

* A few of the days highlights *

A.) Driving with my sisters to the venue in the pouring rain listening to loud music, trying not to hydroplane, and having a marvelous time! B.) Seeing Chris standing there waiting for me as I got to the top of the stairs. That was a great moment. Like a: "everything you've been through gets you to this point" moment that you don't ever want to forget. C.) Hearing my Dad sing was really special.

Overall just about nothing went as planned for our wedding. We had everything from rain to groomsmen switches the day before! But at the end of the day, it was a wonderful time with the one I love.  And after all the time we've had to spend apart, I simply couldn't ask for any better than that.

Thank you both for a fabulous day! :)
