Oh Photoshop.....

OKAY I love Photography.  I love Photography like I love red velvet cake.  I love Photography like I love rockin out to Michael Jackson's The Way You Make Me Feel.  I love photography like I love dancing to Maniac back in my college dorm room days.  Just ask my college roommate.  Okay I think you get the point.  But I just spent my whole day in Photoshop.  I have a confession to make, I hate Photoshop.  I never use it.  I really don't like to alter my photos or add something that isn't there.  Honestly, I always felt like Photoshop was very confusing and overwhelming and I hated it.  I hate it like I hate the song "Total Eclipse of the Heart".  And I'm not even going to put a link to that song because that's how much I dislike it.  Yup.  But then I was reading Ashley's Blog one day and came across her post about actions from Coffeeshop Photography.  All I have to say is that this website is AH MAZING!.  Tons and tons of fabulous photo enhancing  Actions , Templates, and Textures.  AND they are all FREE!  What?!?!?!?!  Seriously.....AH MAZING! I just spent a pretty good portion of my Saturday playing around in photoshop with all the different techniques I downloaded thanks to the lovely Rita.  HUGE shout out to Rita for creating all of these photo enhancing techniques and posting them!  THANK YOU!  Thank you for making Photoshop that much easier.... and bareable.  Seriously!

Belleville IL Newborn Photographer - Caleb

I recently had the honor of photographing baby Caleb.  At 6 months old, he is a little baby genius.  Caleb actually sat up all by himself that day.  What can I say, I'm that good! :)  Such a doll with his big brown eyes.  Watch out ladies, Caleb is going to be a little heart breaker.  Here is an extra long post for all of you baby lovers out there (everyone).  Feel free to ooohhhh and awwwww all you want.  Enjoy! :)

"Easy on the Eyes" Award

SO I would love to start out by giving a HUGE shout out to Andi and her FABULOUS blog.  I love and follow Andi's blog because one.....she is fabulous....two...she knows what she's talking about....three....she has the best fashion sense and make up tips....four....has awesome music on her blog....and the list goes on and on.  Well this week, Andi held her "200 Strong Celebration" in which she reached the big 200 followers or "fabulous crew" members.  In appreciation, she gave special recognition to a few of her absolute favorite blogs who are truly "Easy on the Eyes" reads.  Well on her little list, she included one blog that I am very familiar with.....MINE?!?!?!?!  Seriously??!?!?! When I read my name I was SO shocked and touched.  And my reaction was "What?!?!?!?!?!....."  then "SQUeeeeeeeee!!!!".....just like that.  THANK YOU so much Andi!  You are a rockstar!  Today Andi posted an old "Glamour Shots" picture she found as she was unpacking and shared it with us.  Yes Andi....I also have one....and yes thanks to you.....I will also share mine.  :)

I was about 9 years old when this picture was taken.  As you can see, this was my "chubby awkward pre braces" phase.  Check out those Brooke Shields eyebrows!  But at least I had great hair right?  :)
