A while back I met with Kristine, Karl, and their lovely dog Murphy (aka Murphy Lee...like the rapper....well that's what I call him) for their engagement session.  Everyone who knows me knows I love animals...especially dogs.  And when Kristine mentioned bringing their dog to their engagement session, I got really excited!  I love when couples include their fur babies in their photo sessions.  LOVE it!  Oh, and Kristine and Karl are way cool too :)  A laid back gorgeous couple and a cute dog?  My favorite kind of session!

Kristin and Frank ENGAGED - St. Louis MO Wedding Photographer

Hi there!  Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!  I know I did.....I ate more than my fare share of sugar, watched tons of Christmas movies, and I also celebrated the big 3-0.....woohoo!  That's right, woohoo!  I for one am hella excited about my thirties and am looking forward to 2013.

So enough about me, I want to introduce you to one FABULOUS couple.  A while back I met with Kristin and Frank in downtown St. Louis, love shooting downtown.  Lots of awesome alleys and textures, lots of interesting odors, but when you are with an awesome couple (they crack me up) it makes it THAT much better.  Kristin and Frank are so much fun and such a sweet couple, I am so excited for their winery wedding in June!

Allison and Rob - Married - Alton, IL Wedding Photographer

Are you ready?  I told you, lots of blog love happening over here.  After several phone chats and emails, it was so great to be able to meet Allison and Rob in person.  That's right boys and girls, we didn't meet face to face until the week of their wedding.  They are so easy going and wonderful, it was like hanging out with old friends....I love that :)  They randomly met one day during grad school interviews in which Allison then went home that day and told her friend...."I could totally marry that guy"....and the rest is history :)  High five Rob!  Here are a few from their special day, enjoy!

Inspiration

Black and white photos and art are just so simple and beautiful. Accents of red within black and white look so classy. We really wanted to have a fun affair but something that was also timeless. My aunt makes paper stars and I always knew I wanted those incorporated somehow into the theme of the wedding.

Most memorable part of the day

Our most memorable part of the day was riding around in the Bluff City trolley right after the ceremony with our closest friends and family. We were dancing, singing, and celebrating our newly established commitment to each other. We were so overjoyed with the amount of people that came to show their support for us on July 14th!

Still planning that trip to Seattle, but now I'll get to visit new friends :)  Thank you so much for letting me photograph your special day.  I absolutely loved spending time with you both and your FABULOUS wedding party.  Best "best man" speech to date!
