Amber and Reese PUBLISHED - St. Louis Newborn Photographer

Hi there!  I hope you all had a great weekend!

Just in case you missed it, the lovely Amber and Reese were featured on Live Modernly, which is the lifestyle blog for Modernly Wed.  As a portrait photographer, I adore photographing newborns but I do not use props such as babies in baskets....and I don't wrap them in a sheet and hang them from a tree either.  I prefer "lifestyle" newborn photography that shows the baby in their natural environment, where they are most comfortable.  For this particular session I wanted to bring in a bit of "glamour" and add in a hair and makeup stylist to make Amber (the mother) feel exceptionally gorgeous.  Natural lighting, natural setting, and a gorgeous mother and her newborn baby....love it.  Thank you again to Live Modernly for featuring this session.  Special thanks to the lovely Amber for letting me capture her session and to Nikki Cox for hair and makeup.

Harper 3 months old - Belleville Family Photographer

Hi there!  Are you ready for a blog post party?  Well good.....

Remember the lovely Harper?  I have had so much fun photographing this family from maternity photos to newborn photos to now. Being able to watch children grow up before my very eyes is such a gift.  I've known Amber since high school....we used to play tennis together.  From getting pulled over by the police for turning without signaling (multiple times) in the Dairy Queen parking lot, to driving to tennis practice wearing sunglasses with no frames, to making matching tshirts for Prairie State Games the night before.....I heart Amber.  She is such a beautiful person inside and out.  And now getting the honor of photographing her beautiful family, it doesn't get any better than that.  :)

Harper has a FABULOUS eye for fashion..... ;)

Harper Rae - Belleville Illinois Family Photographer

Oh baby fever..... :)  I have been photographing so many teeny cute squishy gorgeous babies in the past couple weeks....I love it.  I know I have said this during my sessions, but photographing babies is very therapeutic for me.  Yes it is hard work and yes they can cry and yes thay can sometimes projectile vomit and leave little messes for you, but dang it.....it's cute and I love it.  I'm obsessed with their teeny tiny hands and fingernails, the noises they make when they sleep, how they look at me so intensely when my camera clicks, and the look on their parents faces when they hold them.  Melt....absolutely love being able to capture these little moments.  :)

Baby Carter- St. Louis Newborn Photographer

Hi there!  I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!  I recently got to spend some time with the AH-dorable Carter and his lovely parents.  Newborn sessions pull on my little heart strings, I love them. Thank you Maria and Caleb for welcoming me into your home and congratulations on your little man!  :)

St. Louis Newborn Photographer - Ace

Some of you may remember Rochelle and Kevin's maternity session from last Novemeber?  Well guess what?  Ace has arrived!  Rochelle and Kevin asked me to come back and photograph their little man and I was beyond excited!  Ace is SUCH a cutie!  AND Rochelle's parents were visiting all the way from Ohio, so we got to do a family session as well.  WOOT!  I love love love getting to spend time with families and capturing those special memories.  I seriously love my job!  Thank you Rochelle and Kevin for inviting me into your home once again. :)
